C6 Corvettes 2005-20xx for Sale
The current version of the Corvette is the C6 or sixth generation which started in 2005. Chevrolet again provided a significant jump in style, performance, comfort and features. The 2005 is 5.1 inches shorter and 1.1 inches narrower but has a 1.2 inch longer wheel base. Even with those changes the interior space remained about the same as the 2004. The 2005 base engine became the LS2 which is a 364cu 400hp engine.The Z06 reappeared in 2006 with a 427cu 505hp engine and a totally new all aluminum frame,in 2007 the LS3 base engine was introduced with 376 cubicinches and 430hp. In 2009 Corvette reintroduced the ZR-1 “King of the Hill’ Corvette which features the LS9 supercharged engine that pumps out an astonishing 638hp!
